I know Al and his family since 1974 when I joined the Corps. It was hart braking to read about his passing away. I remember, when he bought the shell house on Old Mill Rd from the nearby precedent house. Al had a lot of his ambitions accomplished and fulfilled. He tumbled from a tree, broken up, Al regained his health and went forward as he did after the lost of wife Elenor. I rode on many calls with Al on Wednesday night for he was my Crew Chief for many years. At one time three of the same family were riding members: Al, his wife Elenor and a daughter Lisa. My sympathies to Lisa and each one of the family. Cecile Guilbeault

Dear William, Brian, Peter, Lisa and Sarah, my deepest sympathy to you in the passing of your father. 'Mr. Will' will always remain fondly in my memory as a part of my growing-up years in Valley Cottage. I can still picture him with his skis at the Pico house. Love to you all, Vicki

To the Will Family, Thank you for sharing Al with us at CVCVAC, he was surely a treasure. He was greatly missed when he moved south, but he is always fondly remembered. I'm sorry he won't be able to attend the opening of our new building. May God Bless him and his entire family.

Georgene and I send our heartfelt condolences to Lisa, Brian and all the Will family. We know how much you will miss him, because we will too. We will always remember him as a gentleman and a competitor. He was number one on our prayer list last night at mass, and I am positive that he is right now cranking up his spin serve on the paddle courts in heaven, just before having a few cocktails after the game. All our best. Brian & Georgene Zevnik

To the Family of Al Will, How time and distance catch us off guard. Our deepest sympathy to you all. This closes a long chapter in our lives, Al & Eleanor, first aid, EMT trng & busines mtgs & the best picnics in V.C. Shirley and I returning from a cruise out of FL, Al invited us to stop by and see his new home in GA. How gracious he was, this was Al. We then moved to Texas and our paths never crossed again, what a shame.

To All of Al's family, I am very saddened by Al's passing. he was always a good friend and very encouraging and supportive of me when I joined the Ambulance Corps. Al was one of the cornerstones of CVCVAC and when he moved he left a gaping hole in the organization.I remember the last time I saw Al, he had stopped by the old building on Kings Highway when we were still operating out of it and came in and we recalled some of his exploits from his early days with the Corps and some of mine. I frequently drive past the house on Old Mill Road and each time without fail I remember all the CVCVAC picnics Al hosted there and all the fun we had. Picnics after he moved were never quite the same. Again, I am very sorry for your loss. I will be thinking of Al and all of you on Saturday and Sunday. I will miss him. Rob Roy
